Section 6: V - St Luke i

  1. An angel tall and bright
    From heaven did appear
    In all his power and might
    He filled a maid with fear
        O angel so bright,
        O maiden so pure
        A soul full of light
        A servant so sure.
  2.  "Fear not, O gentle maid,
    God wills a Saviour Son
    If you will give Him shade
    Within your virgin womb." 
  3. "I am the Lord's" she said
    "May His sweet will be done.
    His servant, yet a maid
    I shall bring forth His son." 
  4. Then was Her calm restored
    That spot so bright grew dim,
    She felt her little Lord
    And knelt to worship Him.
