Protecting Trinity

  1. Father Almighty, so boundless yet secure,
    Not locked away like treasure in a store
    But open wide like the ocean's mighty roar,
    Yet breeze at midday to cool and reassure.
  2. O loving Jesus,
    Our healing and our balm,
    Eternal vigil that keeps us all from harm
    Not by command but wrought in peace and calm
    Your wounded hands reach out and all our foes disarm.
  3. O Holy Spirit, the source of cleansing fire
    Of all our intricate and vain desire
    Through urgent Grace and not by warnings dire,
    Be near us always to ravish and inspire.
