Bible Dance
Adam for an apple paid with every human life
Eve for eating paid in pain for every bearing wife:
Abraham who gave his son was chosen of the Lord:
Moses led his people out across the Red Se ford.
Isaiah promised after pain the people would be free
Through a king he said would spring from the root of Jesse,
Cousin John at the Jordan said make the crooked straight
Here he comes, the Lamb of God for whom all people wait.
He was born in Bethlehem where Jesse had his flocks
Shepherds came who heard his fame, warmed by the ass and ox
Angels bright that starry night proclaimed goodwill to men
But infants were the first to die for what wise men had seen.
Maiden servant killed a serpent down in Bethlehem
Apple tree to Calvary the wood was yet the same
God, Adam and Abraham at last all shared a son
And Jesus Christ the source of life ended what they began.
