General (Vol. 1)

Lamb and Shepherd

  1. Lamb without blemish,
    Noble sacrifice
    Whose blood was poured
Upon the marble altar of our vice:
    Whose slaughter pacified,
    Who could not be denied.

  2. Lamb now our Shepherd,
    Humble Minister
    Whose love protects
Where law and precedent cannot deter:
    Who lit the Paschal flame,
    Who was Himself a lamb.

  3. Lamb born eternal,
    Joyful Sacrament
    Who knows the call
Of those who struggle, falter and lament:
    Who gently calls by name
    Every single lamb.
